Zone North/Thana-Aliganj – Person accused of raping a minor girl has been arrested. On 09.09.2024, the plaintiff gave a written complaint at the local police station regarding her minor daughter aged 16 years being sexually violated by a boy named Ravi Gautam, who lives in the neighborhood, calling her to his house on some pretext.
On the basis of the complaint received by the plaintiff, immediately FIR No. 228/2024 under Section 74/127(6) BNS and 7/8 POCSO Act was registered at the local police station.
During investigation, on the basis of statement of the victim and collection of evidence a police team was constituted at Aliganj police station to arrest the absconding accused in the above case.
With tireless efforts by the police team, the named/wanted accused Ravi Gautam son Buddhlal Gautam resident of Kamalapur district Sitapur, present address slum near Galla Mandi police station Aliganj Lucknow age 29 years was arrested from his residence slum on 07.10.2024 as per rules and produced before the High Court and sent to jail.
